Oct 16th 6 pm Let's see...On Thursday, Michael had his weekly blood work done and everything was well. On Friday
he was able to go in and get the PICC line removed. He decided to go ahead and take it out for our trip to
Disneyland. He wouldn't have been able to go swimming or on the water rides with the line in. We would also have to
be doing the flushing daily and I'd have to do a dressing change (which I don't want to do) while we were there. It
takes 20 or so minutes to put the thing in and a couple of seconds to take it out. It doesn't hurt, but Michael says that
it feels weird.
Chris and I got away for a weekend. We went to Half Moon Bay. It was a nice weekend over there even though it was
foggy a good part of the time. We were able to have the top down on my car right up until we got into Half Moon Bay.
Then when we left today, we were able to have it down the whole time.
We leave on Saturday morning to go to Universal City and then to Disneyland later in the week.
Michael's PET scan is scheduled for Nov 5th. He doesn't have a CT Scan scheduled yet, but will have to have
another still before they decide whether to do another round or two of chemo. PLEASE KEEP PRAYING THAT THE
TUMORS ARE GONE AND THAT WE WON'T HAVE TO GO THROUGH ANY MORE CHEMO!
